A
typical home appliance system system provides a home with lighting, television
and radio on a daily basis. Systems can be designed to power either Black
& White or Color televisions, however color televisions require a
DC-AC inverter and a larger solar module.
The following system configuration will power a Black & White
TV, two 9-watt lights, and a small transistor
radio for 4-5 hours per day:
