Solar systems can be configured to satisfy the demands of any rural office. A typical rural office system provides sufficient electricity to power regular use of lights, fans, computers, and printers, as well as periodic use of televisions and VCRs.
Khmer Solar installed a rural office system for Asia Foundation in Tani District, Kampot Province. The following system components powered lights (8 hours per day), a fan (8 hours per day), a computer (3 hours per day), a printer (half-hour per day), and period use of a TV and VCR:
